- At junction 23A, take the A453 exit leading to East Midlands Airport, the A50, Stoke, the A6, and Derby. At Finger Farm Roundabout, take the third exit onto A453. Proceed to the roundabout and take the second exit, maintaining your course on A453. Make a slight change in direction to the left, then merge onto the A50.
- Next, take a gentle left onto the A6 ramp, marked for Derby and Alvaston. Stay on this path as it becomes Derby Spur/A6. At the ensuing roundabout, take the second exit onto Alvaston Bypass/A6 and continue following Alvaston Bypass. Afterwards, proceed onto Raynesway/A5111.
- Take the exit marked for Brian Clough Way/A52. Then, make another slight change in direction to the left to merge onto Brian Clough Way/A52, heading towards City Centre, Matlock, and the A6.
- Reaching the roundabout, take the third exit onto Sir Frank Whittle Road/A61. Shortly after, turn gently left onto Nottingham Road. Maintain your course on Nottingham Road by making a left turn. Followed by a right turn onto Clarke Street, then a left onto Fox Street.
